What First Time Patients Need to Know

New Patient Paperwork

Please fill out as much paperwork online before your appointment. This will provide your practitioner with a snapshot of your curent problem as well as your health history. Your practitioner can then focus and ask relevant questions that can assist in developing an acupuncture therapy strategy that best suites you.

What to wear

Please wear loose fitting clothing. No matter what or where your problem is located, your practitioner needs access to your legs from your feet up to your knees; and access to your arms from your hands up to your elbows. Your practitioner will explain the reasoning for this at your visit. So please dress with this in mind or bring a change of clothes.

Eat a snack or meal

Eat something within 3 hours of your acupuncture therapy session. Your body will need "fuel" to accomplish the work it needs to do to get better. A light snack or regular meal is appropriate.

How Long Your Visit Will Last

Your first visit can run as long as 1 hour and 45 minutes. This length of time helps ensure your best possible outcome from you first acupuncture therapy session.
